Solar Cable Photovoltaic PV1-F | TÜV Approved

Solar Cables

What is Solar Cable?
Solar Cable is a single core rubber flexible cable with class 5 flexible copper conductors, cross-Linked halogen-free rubber insulation, and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) Sheath. Solar Cable is TÜV certified and designed for use in photovoltaic (PV) systems.

What does Photovoltaic Solar Cable PV1-F do?
Solar Cable PV1-F is designed to connect elements of a photovoltaic system permanently. Solar PV cable is used to interconnect panels, and to connect strings or groups of panels to the system. This cable also takes DC power, generated by the solar panel, back to the inverter.
Solar cable is suitable for fixed installations outside and inside, within unprotected pipes, or in similar closed systems.

How is Solar Cable constructed?

Solar Cable
1 Conductor Class 5 flexible tinned copper to IEC 60228
2 Insulation Cross-Linked halogen-free rubber Type HEPR. No toxic emissions, acids, gases or fumes.
3 Sheath LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) rubber. UV-resistant as per the requirements of HD 605/A1. No toxic emissions, acids, gases or fumes.

What standards does Solar Cable PV1-F conform to?
The cable is TÜV certified, ozone-resistant according to EN50396, UV-resistant according to UNE-HD 605:2008 (HD605/A1), and is tested for durability according to EN 60216. The cable is tested to last 25 years. Solar Panel Cable PV1-F also conforms to IMQ requirements No. CPT 065 2nd Edition, and CEI 20-91, HD 605/A1,IEC 60332-1, IEC 60754.

What accessories can be used with Photovoltaic Cable?
MC4 Solar Connectors can be used to connect elements within solar photovoltaic (PV) system, and the Solar Crimping Tool is specifically designed for use with non-insulated open plug type connectors.

By what other names can solar cables be known?
Solar Cable is also known as PV Cable, PV1-F Cable, Photovoltaic Cable, Solar PV Cable, and Solar Panel Cable.
